Dorothy handled “Zoe” for Sara Carnrick. Zoë finished with four majors and is now in the BCA Hall of Fame as a brood bitch.. One, under Ann Hubbard, was Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex and another was Best of Winners under Jack Brown. She finished with a five point major, going BOB over six specials. After she was finished, Sara asked us if we wanted to have her live with us on a co-ownership and we gratefully agreed. She came to live with us after her first litter (Ch. Helfyre’s Warmvalley April and Ch. Helfyre’s Winning Combination) was born.
From her second litter, five of the six pups are being shown. Littermates Am/Can Ch. Resolute Rynkly Helfyre and Ch. Maxwell Lonie both finished in style. Helly took 9 points in one weekend, going Winners Bitch under Ann Hier at the BC Connecticut Specialty and Best of Winners at the back up show. She was specialty winning in Canada as well, where she earned her Canadian championship, and was group placing in the U.S. Max earned all four of his majors under breeder/judges: two five point specialty majors under British judges Les Cotton and Anthony Darmanin and two other majors under British judge Fred Haynes and under Donna Mouser. Resolute Helfyre Son of a Gun has eight points and needs his majors to finish. Resolute U Make my Heart Sing is pointed and will be out in the fall of 2003.
